Haria

The municipality of haria is situated in the north of the island. Is one of the most fertile places where there are a lot of attractive things, that make it different from the rest of the island; hundreds of palm trees, indigenous plants and fields of locally farmed produce, make of Haria a unique and special oasis.

In the natural park of la corona, cesar manrique, combined the art with the landscape, building obe of the most representative tourist center of the Island: Los Jameos del Agua.

Secondly at the very edge of Famara cliff, we find another feat of his marvellous works: El Mirador del Río, where the view of Chinijo Archipielago completely satisfies our all senses. Added to all of this in the same area as Los jameos del agua is the Cueva de los verdes. One of the most important under earth natural formed tunnels formed from volcanic eruption.

With the lava the palm trees and the sea, Haria become a dreamed place for the tranquility lovers. Cesar Manrique stablished his residence in Haria, during the last time of his life, because this village was his idea of paradise.
