La Graciosa Beaches![]() The beaches on La graciosa are completely natural, which means no one will pick up the rubbish we generate. The virginity and cleanliness of the waters are such that it is not rare to see free tortoises swimming next to us. All the beaches can fairly easily be reached on foot. If we take care never to alter our course on the paths in order not to erode the soil e can reach the beaches of Playa de El Salao,La Francesa and La Cocina or Los Conejos in the northeast of the village. On la Graciosa visitors can enjoy a different beach every day. There is no path that leads to the beach barranco de los conejos and if you want to bathe there and enjoy a sunny day in this delicious corner, you will have to walk from the village in northern direction for about three kilometres along the coast. The majority of visitors who come to La Graciosa for only one day usually only go as far as the beach playa Francesa, about two kilometres southwest from Caleta del Sebo. To reach Playa Cocina you will have to advance another two kilometres from Playa francesa. The next beach lies just along the foot of Montaña amarilla where silence is complete and will guarantee total disconnection and rest. One of the most famous marvels of the Island, the legendary beach Las Conchas, situated in the northwest, is 400 meters long and 100 meters wide. The beach Las conchas as most beaches in the northern part of all the canary islands is specially dangerous. There are very strong currents and we recommend not to go in any farther than where the waters cover your hips. But the sights are marvellous. To protect us from the wind we can use some rocks which will allow us to comfortably enjoy this incredible landscapes.
