La Graciosa Crossing

Nowhere do such tempting and pleasant findings concentrate on such a small surface as happens on La Graciosa. The majority resting or grieve, and out of ignorance only desire it from the vantage point Mirador del Río hanging high on the cliffs of Famara.

Those who reach it do so after a short crossing by sea of hardly 20 minutes from Orzola, last fishing village in the North of Lanzarote. Once the ship starts leaving the port, it disappears from view, to hide behind the Punta de los Fariones whose periled is the most pronounced edge of Lanzarote. At this moment the bustle on the port of Orzola dissolves into newly gained quiet and silence.

The brief journey on board those secure and experienced boats will hardly give is time to enjoy the fresh salty air which will assault our faces if we decide to stay on deck to admire the exciting game of the playing waves.

We can reach the Port of Orzola by public transport. Busses leave the Arrecife bus station to Orzola at least twice a day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. It is the cheapest way to get to the North of Lanzarote and the most comfortable, if we wish to spend our holiday on La Graciosa. Is we only want to stay there one day it might be more useful to rent a car.
